Challenge Antarctica is a world leading and world first expedition to cross the full breadth Antarctica from coast to coast, starting and finishing from the sea. It is a mammoth journey of 1800 miles that Baz is expecting to complete inside 100 days.
We are looking for your help and it is very easy to get involved and it’s not only big sponsors we are looking for, anyone can get in touch to support at many levels, but why?
This is a truly world leading first attempt at crossing Antarctica, solo and without assistance or support. Be part of this achievement. Some of the world’s most famous explorers are now respected household names because of this continent and their spirit of discovery. The World only moves forward and gains knowledge if people push the boundaries and constantly tread new ground.
Antarctica will play a huge part in the future of Planet Earth. This project will highlight the issues of climate change, help people to understand more about Antarctica from its past and going forward into its future. Help Baz to help others understand and ensure it remains looked after and respected.
A big part of Challenge Antarctica will be working with children and schools. Various schools from all over the UK and globally will be shadowing Baz and Challenge Antarctica for a full year before the expedition and during the challenge itself. This will include many fun projects, learning and regular visits before and after from Baz. If you are connected to a school as a teacher, PTA member or governor and you think your school will want to also be involved then please get in touch.
Why not help Baz to raise funds by organising a dinner or fundraising event/activity in which Baz will come along and give a presentation. Baz is a gifted speaker and can cover many Antarctic related specialist subjects including a deep knowledge of the heroic age of Polar exploration.
If you can and would like to support this project in any way and want to know more then send your support and one of the team will be in touch shortly.
